Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Guler (Himachal Pradesh) and Ballia (east Uttar Pradesh) each recorded 2 cm. of rainfall.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 3: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
