Tibetan women’s peace march reaches city

The Tibetan women’s peace march from Dharamsala received a warm welcome by the local Tibetan students today. Around 130 women from Dharamsala and its vicinity are on their way to New Delhi to spread the message of peace and harmony. The peace march, which started on March 12, has covered 260 km on foot in 14 days.

Awards for best art works

The Government College of Art authorities on Wednesday announced the award winners of the annual art exhibition which was inaugurated on the college campus on March 14. In all, 790 works of art by 214 students of Applied Art, Painting, Graphics (Printmaking) and Sculpture were displayed during the show which witnessed a keen contest for various categories of awards.
