Dr Condoleezza Rice will replace Gen Colin L. Powell as the next Secretary of State of the US. Senior Bush administration officials said that President George W. Bush had picked his National Security Adviser for General Powell's job and that Dr Rice's name could be announced very soon.

Zaheera’s kin identifies 11 accused

Yasmin Sheikh, sister-in-law of Zaheera Sheikh, today identified 11 of the accused in the Best Bakery case at a special court here.
Yasmin, the fourth eyewitness to do so, told the court that all eleven accused were part of the mob that attacked Best Bakery in Vadodara on March 1, 2002.
Govt rules out
rollback in LPG prices

The Government today ruled out any rollback in prices of LPG and said that it will continue to go up by Rs 5 per cylinder as was announced by the Government recently.
Delimitation work deferred in Haryana till poll
