Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.1°C recorded at Jhodhpur.

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were below normal in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.5°C recorded at Ludhiana.

Forecast valid till the morning of October 26: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan. It will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
