Temperatures: Maximum temperatures changed little in the past 24 hours. Departure: Temperatures were largely above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.3 C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).
Past 24 hours change:
Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.
Departure:
Temperature remained largely above normal in Rajasthan, markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir,
Punjab and Uttaranchal, above normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in east Uttar Pradesh. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.4C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Mainly clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 36 C and 20 C, respectively.
