Official sources said the IED planted in the stationery scooter was detonated by the ultras with remote control at 11 am when the Army convoy was on way to Bandipora from Sopore. One of the vehicles carrying troops of Rashtriya Rifles (five sector) caught fire killing two jawans and critically injuring six.
