Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cms are: West Rajasthan: Sriganganagar 1 and east Uttar Pradesh: Allahabad 4, Raebareilly 3, Mirzapur 2 and Ghazipur and Jaunpur 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 30: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
