New Delhi, February 7
A Delhi court today remanded the two Hurriyat leaders arrested on Thursday for allegedly receiving funds from the Pakistan High Commission in 10 days’ police custody.

Dhumal filed criminal complaints against his Punjab counterpart and two other senior Congress leaders, the Punjab Chief Minister, Capt Amarinder Singh, said today that he would be filing a counter defamation suit in Jalandhar within a day or two to “expose” Mr Dhumal’s claims.

Political tempers ran high in Punjab today in the aftermath of the filing of a criminal defamation case by the caretaker Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mr Prem Kumar Dhumal, against the Punjab Chief Minister yesterday as the Enforcement wing of the PSEB conducted selective raids on factories and the residence of Mr Dhumal and his relatives here even as the CM has ordered the raids to be stopped.
