Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Haryana and at isolated places in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Rohtak 3 and Delhi Ridge, Jind, Narwana and New Delhi (Safdarjung) 1 each and east Uttar Pradesh: Chandradeepghat and Fatehgarh 3 each and Bhatpurwaghat 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 18: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of September 18: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thundershowers in some areas.
