Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms. are: Himachal Pradesh: Baijnath and Barsar 3 each, Gohar and Sujanpurtira 2 each and Ghamroor, Kangra, Kahu and Una 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 3 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 7 and Dehra Dun and Rudraprayag 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 29: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.
