Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Sujanpur Tira 2, Bangana and Una 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 4, Rajasthan: Bhanwargarh Colony and Bethly 3 each, Baswa and Rupangarh 2 each and Alwar, Angai, Bandikui, Bansur, Develi, Gopalpura, Moraldam, Sikrai, Talabsahi, Urmilasagar and Ummedsagar 1 each, Uttar Pradesh: Balmikinagar 8, Mukhlispur 3, Banda 2 and Bahraich and Etawah 1 each, Uttaranchal: Dehradun 2 and Pantnagar 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 3: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
