UAV crashes during test
New Delhi, May 31 
A DRDO unmanned Aerial Vehicle Nishant being tested in live conditions along with Indo-Pak border near Jaisalmer, crashed during test flight, Defence Ministry officials said here. The officials denied that any Indian Air Force UAV was involved in the incident. The UAV crashed near Sodhakore village, they said adding no one was injured on the ground. PTI

Congress leader shot dead
Buxar, May 31
A senior district Congress leader was killed by unidentified assailants at Arak village of Buxar district of Bihar, the police said here on Friday. Unidentified miscreants swooped on Thakur Ramdular Singh’s house on Thursday night and gunned down the Congress leader, who was fast asleep, district Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar said. PTI
