Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 37°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).,

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Uttaranchal, fell in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.7°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 19: Weather will be dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 19: Clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 33°C and 17°C respectively.
