SRINAGAR,
March 21 In the first massacre of its kind,
heavily-armed militants gunned down 35 Sikhs at a village
in Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir, just hours
before US President Bill Clinton began his official visit
to India.
US-Bangladesh to cooperate in
trade, energy
DHAKA,
March 20 Opening a new chapter in their bilateral
relations, the USA and Bangladesh today decided to
intensify cooperation in trade and energy sectors, with
Washington pledging 97 million dollars as food aid to the
impoverished country.
