Pak reactor, missile site photos posted on Internet
WASHINGTON, March 15 — A US policy group that caused a stir when it published satellite photographs of a North Korean missile site has put pictures of Pakistani nuclear and missile facilities on the Internet only days before President Bill Clinton visits South Asia. The Federation of American Scientists release photos — bought from a Colorado company and of spy-satellite quality — of Pakistan’s nuclear reactor and support facility at Khushab and of its missile base at Sargodha.

SGPC meeting put off
Talwandi, Akal Takht chief hold talks
AMRITSAR, March 15 — Mr Jagdev Singh Talwandi, veteran Akali leader and Chairman of Disciplinary Action Committee of the party, today held a two-hour closed-door meeting with Giani Puran Singh, Jathedar of Akal Takht, at the residence of the Akal Takht Jathedar. Baba Kashmira Singh and Baba Mangal Singh, President and Acting President of the Gurbani Gurmat Sidhant Sant Samaj, were also present at the meeting.

Giani Puran Singh’s removal sought
AMRITSAR, March 15 — Representatives of various Sikh organisations, including the Dal Khalsa, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), Damdami Taksal, Akal Federation and the Khalsa Action Committee today sought the removal of Giani Puran Singh, Jathedar, Akal Takht.

‘Foolproof’ security for Clinton
NEW DELHI, March 15 — The Capital’s 55,000 strong police force has been put on a “general state of alert” to ensure “foolproof” security for Mr Bill Clinton who arrives here on March 19 evening, on the first visit by a US President in 22 years, Delhi Police Commissioner Ajai Raj Sharma said here today.
