Giani Puran Singh directs CM
to replace Bibi

AMRITSAR, March 13 — In a blitzkrieg move, Giani Puran Singh, the Jathedar of Akal Takht, has directed Mr Parkash Singh Badal, president of the Shiromani Akali Dal, to immediately appoint an acting president of the SGPC in place of Bibi Jagir Kaur who was “excommunicated” from the Sikh Panth for violating the edicts of the Takht.
