Man booked for 'killing' wife:Kalu Ram Nayak of Sadhuwali village on the Abohar-Sriganganagar road has been booked after his wife Suman was found dead under mysterious conditions at their house on Saturday, The police said Suman's parents of Taja Patti village of Abohar had alleged that Kalu Ram had been giving conflicting statements about the death of their daughter.
Three bodies found:The body of a 25-year-old youth was found in the Malukpura sub-canal in Dhaani Bishesharnath village on Sunday. The Sriganganagar police found the body of Paramjit Singh (47) of Sadiq village
(Faridkot) from a sub-canal near Chak 35BB village. He had gone missing around 10 days ago. The body of Surjit (50) was found in the sub-canal near 73NP village.

(IPM) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for providing international education to students of the Malwa region. Lakhbir Singh Gill, chairman, North West Group, said the move would help local students join an economical bachelor's programme in Australia.
