Stadium canopies blown away again

The recently repaired canopies were again blown away a few days ago Winds blew away the canopies installed by the Mandi Board at Guru Nanak Stadium ahead of the 4th edition of World Cup Kabaddi. A few days ago, winds blew away a major part of the canopy.

108 staff avoid strike
While the staff of 108 ambulance service went on strike in some parts of the state, the local unit decided to continue with the services. "Ambulance is a very necessary service and we do not want the patients to feel inconvenience and decided to put our demands at the back seat and continue with the service today," said Jagdeep Singh, cluster manager of 108 Ambulance service, Ludhiana.
