The Panchkula police today unearthed a scandal of a "rape victim" involved in the sensational Morni rape case by arresting her for allegedly cooking up a story and then demanding for Rs 1.5 crore to withdraw the case.
Robber stabs woman in her house

In a daring daylight incident, a 34-year-old widow was repeatedly stabbed by a robber who entered her house on the first floor in Sector 37 here today.

Woman found murdered in Baltana
Zirakpur, May 14
A 32-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend in Ravindra Enclave, Phase I, at Baltana near here. Her semi-naked and partially charred body was found on the floor of her house by the police this evening.
