The cheating case involving former president of the Chandigarh Territorial Youth Congress Vijay Pal Singh Dimpy as the accused is on the verge of a compromise as the accused agreed to refund Rs 50 lakh to the complainant in the court today.

22-year-old youth shot at in Sector 37
Chandigarh, April 15
Unidentified assailants opened fire on a 22-year-old PU student, Yugam Anand, in Sector 37 in the wee hours today and fled from the spot. The victim has been admitted to the Advanced Trauma Centre at the PGI. His condition is stated to be stable.
