Holiday Express from today:
The North-Western Railways has decided to reintroduce the Sriganganagar-Bikaner Holiday special train beginning from Monday. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rajnish Kumar said the train would be run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Another holiday special weekly train will be introduced on the Bikaner-Bathinda-Ferozepur route on April 10. Both trains will be run till the month-end only.

Dowry death: 4 booked:
Four members of a family were booked by the Hariana police following the death of a woman in Bassi Mudda village. Deceased Komal's father Pritam Singh alleged his daughter was strangulated by her husband Surjit Lal in connivance with three members of his family. He alleged the accused had been harassing Komal for dowry.

Woman commits suicide: A woman, Kulwant Kaur, allegedly committed suicide at Kullewal village of Garhshankar. Her brother Kulwant Singh told the police that they did not suspect any foul play. The Garhshankar police initiated proceedings under Section 174, CrPC.

SBoP donates 40 wheelchairs to PGI:
The State Bank of Patiala has donated 40 wheelchairs to PGI Chandigarh. SA Ramesh Rangan, Manging Director, SBoP, handed over the chairs to Dr AK Gupta, medical suprintendent of PGI on Friday in the presence of Gurnam Singh, GM, RNW-II, Chandigarh, and Rakeh Arora, DGM, Chandigarh.

Experts hold health talk: Chandigarh: As many as 200 members of Senior Citizens’ Welfare Association attended a health talk on vector-borne diseases organised by Max Super Speciality Hospital at Duplex Community Centre, Mani Majra to mark world health day on Sunday. Dr Sumit Khetarpal, senior consultant, MSSH, said vector-borne disease agents were transmitted by insects which kill millions each year and put more than half of the world population at risk.

200 take part in walkathon: Trinity Hospital in association with Gurukul Global School, Chandigarh, and Yuvsatta organised a walkathon to spread the message of significance of physical fitness to observe World Physical Activity Day at Sukhna on Sunday.
