Day of chaos at Panjab varsity

It was a day of choas at Panjab University (PU) as members of the Students for Society (SFS) forcibly blocked the entry to the university and got all classes vacated from 12.30 pm to 8 pm, demanding the release of nine students who were arrested two days ago and over the fee hike issue.

City residents curious to know about result updates on the day of counting will not have to tune in to news channels. They will be able to know it using their mobile phones on the day of counting through the SMS service to be provided by the UT Election Department.
