Finally, water supply resumes in affected sectors

Bringing 50 hours of inconvenience to an end, the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation (MC) finally resumed the water supply in Sectors 19, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and Bapu Dham Colony at 2 pm today.

ACREX 2014 concludes
The growth trend of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration sector had been distinctly more positive when compared to the rest of the industrial sectors, it was said by experts at the Acrex India 2014, which was recently concluded. Experts said it was expected that the total number of air-conditioner units in use in the country would reach 200 million by 2030. This is about 40 times of the present installed number of units.

Chandigarh: The tiny tots of Eurokids celebrated their annual day for the session 2013-14 at Moti Ram Arya School today. Students of all branches of Eurokids (Sectors 18 and 37 in Chandigarh and Sector 9 of Panchkula) took part in the event. India’s cultural heritage was portrayed beautifully through the dance drama, ‘Unity in diversity’. Students dressed as Radha-Krishna enthralled the audience with their dance on ‘Woh Kisna hai’. The programme concluded with a bhangra performance.
