Panchayat Minister honours farmers for excellence

Surjit Singh Rakhra, Rural Development and Panchayat Minister, was the chief guest on the occasion, while DS Cheema, MLA, Ropar, was the guest of honour. Officials explore possibility of link road

Firing outside councillor's office

At least 12 persons, including Focal Point SHO Gurtej Singh, were hurt after angry residents, who were protesting against a firing incident that took place outside the office of BJP councillor from Ward No. 16 in Deep Singh Nagar near Shepur Chowk, threw stones at a police party.
