The mangled remains of a Maruti Swift car that hit a divider near Gracious Hospital in Mohali late on Monday night after a stray animal came in its way. Two youngsters, namely Davinder Singh and Jagpreet Singh, who were coming from Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan, sustained injuries in the mishap. Ensure speed limits are followed, not flouted
Not a day passes when a road mishap is not reported in the city. In most cases, overspeeding leads to mishap. Casualties in such mishaps are avoidable if prescribed speed limits are followed. The Chandigarh Police should take steps to ensure that commuters abide by speed limits. Sign boards displaying speed limits should be installed on the city roads.
Panjab varsity ties up with IISER, IIT

From the next session, Panjab University is going to offer courses of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali, and IIT, Ropar, to students on the campus through the national knowledge network (NKN) system. The university authorities have sent a communication to both institutes to share their courses running in the virtual classrooms through the NKN system from the next session.

Doon International School, Sector 69, Mohali, celebrated its annual function. Exhibiting different shades of students' talent, the school celebrated the function with zeal and gaiety on the campus. On the first day, tiny tots of the Kindergarten wing stole the show. On the second day, students of the Primary Wing presented a mesmerising show.
