Competitions mark adolescence fair at Patara government school

Jalandhar, October 31
An adolescence fair was held at Government High School, Patara, under the instructions of the State Science Education Organisation and district science supervisor Baljinder Singh.

Held under the supervision of school head Sanjiwan Singh Dadwal, the fair saw students participating in slogan writing, poster-making, essay writing and quiz contests under the topics of population education, adolescence, gender equality, woman empowerment, drug use and environment.

Gurjit Singh, Rajkumar and Amanpreet Kaur supervised the slogan writing and poster-making contests.

The essay writing contest was supervised by Santokh Singh, Baljinder Kaur and Kulwinder Pal. The quiz contest was organised by Dharampal Singh, Suman Sodi and Avneet.




EARLIER STORIES

In the slogan writing contest, Lakhvinder Singh of the Master Mota Singh House stood first, Vishal Bali from the CV Raman house stood second, and Bhupinder from the Saheed Bhagat Singh House got the third  position.

In the poster-making contest, Tarlok from the Mota Singh House stood first, Ravi of the Swami Vivekanand House stood second and Kartik Thakur from the Kalpana Chawla bagged the third spot.
