A man allegedly killed his wife's paramour in Maharban village here last night. The victim, identified as Pankaj (26), had come from Bihar nearly four years ago and was living in migrant quarters near Meharban.

2 proclaimed offenders held
Khanna, September 6
The Khanna police has nabbed two proclaimed offenders who had allegedly murdered three persons at Sudhar and Khanouri in Punjab and stole hundreds of tyres from various states, including Punjab, Haryana and Rajsthan. The accused has been identified as Harjinder Singh alias Raju and Gopal Singh alias Bunty, both residents of Sabdalpur village in Patiala district. SSP Khanna, Sushil Kumar, said the police launched a special drive and arrested them.
