Anti-drug marathons planned

The North-India Kabaddi Federation and Punjab Kabaddi Academy and Clubs Association and Punjab Kabaddi Association will hold anti-drug marathons in six districts of the state from October onwards. 

In a joint decision taken by both the federations, it was decided that to facilitate anti-drug awareness among the sportspersons and to inspire them to take up sports in big numbers, anti-drug marathons will be held in Moga, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Gurdaspur, Mohali and Bathinda. The first marathon will be held in Mohali on October 16, the others will be held in Moga, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Bathinda and Ludhiana on October 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26, respectively. — TNS
