ISA fellowship for DMC doctor: Dr Sunil Katyal, Head of Anesthesia Department, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, has been awarded a fellowship of the Indian College of Anaesthesiologists. He has become the first doctor from Punjab to bag this honour. Dr Katyal said he felt privileged and dedicated his success to his alma mater - DMC, Ludhiana.

Sangrur
Two killed in road mishap: Two persons were killed while one sustained injuries when the car they were traveling in rammed into a tree near Sangrur-Patran road at Sular Gharat village (near Dirba) last night. The Dirba police today said Rajan Jain (28) of Sunam and Baldev Singh of Moranwali village (Sunam) were killed on the spot while Rohit Jain was critically injured. Rohit was admitted to Sangrur Civil Hospital. A case has been registered.
