LIT yet to recover Rs 9.53 cr
Ludhiana, June 30
The Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) has not recovered Rs 9.53 crore from allottees of various development schemes on account of hike in reserve price of land and flats. It has also failed to take action against defaulters and officials responsible for the lapse.

Husband, in-laws booked
Samrala, June 30
The Samrala police has booked four persons for demanding dowry. The complainant, Jatinder Kaur, a resident of Kubbe village had alleged that her husband, Manminder Singh, and in-laws were harassing her for dowry since her marriage in 2008.
