City records 274 mm rainfall in June, highest in 5 years

Residents suffer from long power cuts

City residents today faced power cuts due to rain accompanied by a fierce storm, which hit the city in the afternoon. A number of trees were also uprooted and reported to have fallen due to heavy showers.
