: Two motorcycle-borne youths snatched a bag containing Rs 4 lakh from a Sub-Inspector (SI) of Hisar. Bansi Lal was going to his house after withdrawing money from the Dabra Chowk branch of Punjab National Bank this noon when two youths came on a motorcycle and decamped after snatching the bag from him

KU examinations begin
: Kurukshetra University Undergraduate and Postgraduate semester examinations have started in 246 examination centres. KU Controller of Examinations Dr Hukam Singh said to check the menace of copying, 60 Flying Squads had been constituted. Postgraduate examination of distance education and private students will commence from May 23.

Meanwhile, in the individual category, Raghav of Welham Boys' School defeated Shresth of The Doon School to win the chess trophy while Ridhima from Welham Girls' School emerged as the champion in the girls' category. She defeated Akshaya of Oak Grove.
