Two held with intoxicants

Phagwara, May 6
Two drug paddlers were arrested with 500 gram of intoxicant powder on Sunday here.  The accused have been identified as Surjit Ram of Shankar village in Nakodar presently living in Phillaur and Pardeep Kumar of Bhanoki village in Phagwara. They have been booked under Section 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act. SP HPS Khakh said Surjit was nabbed near Gandhi Hospital, Phagwara, and Pardeep was arrested on the Phagwara-Khotrra road. — OC
