22 cows crushed by goods train: As many as 22 cows were crushed to death by a goods train while three cows were injured when a large herd of cows, owned by a Rajasthani cowherd, was crossing the track at a place between Khori and Pali stations on the Rewari-Narnaul route, about 14 km from here, last afternoon.

Man booked in wife’s suicide case: Jindu Ram, father of Asha Devi who had committed suicide at her in-laws’ house yesterday, accused his son-in-law Hem Raj of Ghandal Pangana in Karsog subdivision of forcing his daughter to take the extreme step. Jindu Ram alleged that her husband used to torture his daughter demanding dowry. The police has lodged an FIR.
