Drunk driving claims another life

A business process outsourcing (BPO) employee died while four others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in rammed into the Sectors 7, 19, 26 and 27 roundabout on Madhya Marg in the wee hours of Saturday. All the youths in their mid-twenties were drunk at the time of the accident.

Infant's death: Doctor couple booked for negligence
Ambala, January 19
Naraingarh police has arrested a doctor couple from a private hospital, for the death of a female child due to alleged negligence of hospital staff. The police had registered a case against the doctor couple under Section 304A and 34 of the IPC, on January 18. The couple was produced in Naraingarh court today and were granted the bail.

Pbi varsity to set up dept on traditional knowledge

Punjabi University will be the first university, to establish a department of ‘Indian Traditional Knowledge’ on its campus, following the central government’s pursuit for doing so in the country.
