3 killed as motorcycles collide
Amritsar, November 30
Three persons were killed in a collision between two motorcycles at Nizampura village, falling under the Jhander police station, on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Baljit Singh of Fatehgarh Churian, Lovejit Singh of Fatehgarh Churia and Harbans Singh of Friends Colony, located on Ajnala Road. Harbhajan's wife Disha and Baljit's father Harbans Singh were seriously injured in the accident. They were rushed to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, where there condition is stated to be serious.

Gang of snatchers busted, 3 held
Nawanshahr, November 30
The Banga Sadar police claims to have busted a gang of snatchers by arresting its three members, identified as Amit Kumar, alias Lucky, Manish Kumar, alias Mani, and Lovepreet, alias Labhu, of Dhaleta village, near Goraya, in Jalandhar district, and recovered cash, mobile phone and sharp-edged weapons from their possession.

Three persons were killed in a collision between two motorcycles at Nizampura village, falling under the Jhander police station, on Wednesday night.

The deceased were identified as Baljit Singh of Fatehgarh Churian, Lovejit Singh of Fatehgarh Churia and Harbans Singh of Friends Colony, located on Ajnala Road. Harbhajan's wife Disha and Baljit's father Harbans Singh were seriously injured in the accident. They were rushed to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, where there condition is stated to be serious.

Harbhajan Singh and his wife Disha were going towards Fatehgarh Churian, while Baljit Singh, his father Harbans Singh and Lovejit were going towards Amritsar. When the reached near Nizampura their motorcycles collided head on with each other killing Baljit, Lovjit and Harbans on the spot. The two motorcycles they were riding on were completely damaged in the accident.

Gang of snatchers busted, 3 held

The Banga Sadar police claims to have busted a gang of snatchers by arresting its three members, identified as Amit Kumar, alias Lucky, Manish Kumar, alias Mani, and Lovepreet, alias Labhu, of Dhaleta village, near Goraya, in Jalandhar district, and recovered cash, mobile phone and sharp-edged weapons from their possession.

Giving details, Dhanpreet Kaur, SSP, said the police on the basis of a complaint lodged by Mohinder Pal of Surapur village had registered a case under Sections 382 and 34 of the IPC at the Banga Sadar police station against the unidentified miscreants involved in snatching, etc.

The complainant had stated that three motorcycle-borne miscreants, armed with sharp-edged weapons, had snatched cash and mobile phone from him near Adarsh School, Khatkar Kalan.
