here. After launching the website, the PSSSB’s chairman, Santa Singh
Umedpuri, said the website would prove helpful to the youngsters, who are in search of jobs or who have applied for jobs in various departments.

Mason electrocuted to death: Mason Dhanesh Kumar (35) of Majhona village, Champal district, Bihar, was electrocuted with an electric fan at Dhadhole Khurd village under Bharadi police station, 60 km from here, on Saturday. Reports said Dhanesh was working as mason in Ram Lal’s house for the past two weeks. He requested for an electric fan from Ram Lal as it was a very hot day. He carried the fan to the room where he was working. But after some time a labourer working with him rushed to the owner informing him that Dhanesh was lying unconscious on the floor with the fan lying on him. He was found dead. Temple Trust staff hail decision: The Shri Naina Deviji Temple Trust Employees Association has hailed the order of the government and management to accept some of their major demands. Association president Mahender Singh Thakur said the government had accepted their demands of giving them 7 per cent DA and 3 per cent annual increment to contract employees and also releasing of last instalment of revised Punjab pay scales.

Boy falls off parapet, dies: Amar Prakash, son of Gian Chand, a resident of Humni Bai, Dhalpur, Kullu, fell down from a parapet near Sukkibaim on the national highway and died on the spot on Sunday. The police conducted the postmortem and handed over the body to family members after ruling out a foul play. The police has started inquest proceedings under Section 174, CrPC. NURPUR
Missing youth’s body recovered: The body of Sandeep Sharma (26), son of Narinder Sharma of nearby Chhatrolli village, was found in a well of the same village on Sunday. The deceased had been missing for the past two days. The villagers spotted the body floating in the well and informed panchayat pradhan Urmila Devi who further intimated the police. The police reached the spot and pulled out the body with the assistance of villagers. DSP Rajinder Jaswal said the body had been handed over to the family after postmortem examination and matter was reported under Section 174, CrPC.
