2 die as dumper falls on car: Two youths, Saurabh of Rasoi village and Lal Bachan of Bihar, died on the spot while Sumit of Khubru village was injured seriously when a sand-loaded dumper overturned and fell on their Alto car near the Nathupur turning on GT Road this morning. The police has registered a case against the dumper driver.

degrees: More than 500 graduates and postgraduates students were awarded degrees at a convocation ceremony held at local guru Nanak Khalsa College. Ashok Sangwan, Deputy Commissioner, was the chief guest on the occasion.
