No more low water pressure in city

Residents of the city will now get a relief from the problem of low water pressure as the municipal corporation has decided to resolve the problem there and then after receiving a complaint from any area of the city. This decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the water and sewerage committee chaired by Mukesh Bassi today. It was decided that special teams of the department will monitor those areas from where complaints of low water pressure were received.

City sectors hit by fault in power supply line

A fault in a power supply line from Sectors 28 to 18 led to a power crisis in many sectors of the city today.
The fault occurred in the afternoon hours and was only repaired late in the evening. Due to the fault, residents of Sectors 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 faced a tough time for nearly eight hours. Besides, Sector 7, 27, Burail village and Manimajra also witnessed power cuts today.
