Youth hit by bullet at marriage party

A resident of Mustfapur village in Kartarpur, Gurpreet Singh, was hit by a bullet in his arm while he was dancing along with other guests at a marriage party in New Jawahar Nagar last night.

Gurpreet Singh had been to New Jawahar Nagar to attend the marriage party of his friends’ sister. When a group of youths was dancing, a guest, reportedly under the influence of liquor, fired a gun shot in the air that hit Gurpreet Singh in his left arm.

Gurpreet Singh was admitted to a private hospital on Garha Road here.

After receiving the information of the incident, the police initiated an inquiry.

However, no case has been registered in this regard so far.
