Seeking better response, GMADA relaxes eligibility criteria

To seek a better response for its 4,500 multi-storeyed flats scheme in Sector 88 that opens tomorrow, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has relaxed the eligibility criteria of domicile for applicants. Persons residing anywhere in the country can apply for the flats.
‘Free delivery’ scheme a success in city

The Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) to promote institutional deliveries has proved to be a success in the city, with the Government Medical College and Hospital Sector 32 (GMCH-32) registering a 50 per cent increase ever since “free deliveries” were started in June under a centrally sponsored scheme.
