People throng the jewellery corner at the exhibition — Wedding Asia. Silk and shine
When the dresses are heavily embellished with the semi-precious stones, swaroskis, then sarees, lehengas and gowns become part of jewellery themselves. Most of the dresses by Delhi-based designer Parul Grover boast of the ornamental look. Her dresses are on display at the exhibition — Wedding Asia. More than 55 exhibitors at the exhibition have it all for the would-be brides from head to toe and lehengas, sarees, gowns and cocktail wear for all the days of the 'Indian wedding festival'.

Fashion Police: Who gets it right or wrong?
Television actors are a fashionable lot. Sometimes, they look straight out of the fashion magazines but just that once in a while, they get it wrong. We decided to play fashion police, and take a closer look at how celebs stepped at Colors Golden Petal Awards held recently. Here’s a look at red carpet hotties

Desi girl: Anjum Farooki
On the other hand, Anjum Farooki aka Gauri in Balika Vadhu looked fresh-faced. With her cute outfit and perfect hairdo and makeup – she worked in her desi look. Don’t you agree?
Miss-fit lady: Sonali Bendre
Reality show judge Sonali Bendre walked the red-carpet in this pink-coloured eye-popping outfit. We would have preferred Sonali in a sari as it was an award show, best suited for family audience.
Glitter affair: Aashka Goradia
All that glitters isn’t gold. And by that, we mean Aashka Goradia’s glittery makeup. Having said that, we like the fact that she’s sporting an outfit with
an unusual length.
Elegant drape: Hema Malini
Lending her brand of royalty and opulence to a gold-hued embellished sari, dream girl Hema Malini flaunted some serious bling and an eternal pose. If that’s not magnificent, what is?
Grown up feel: Avika Gor
The young Anandi has grown and how? We couldn’t even recognise Avika Gor in her new avatar. With her charming face, she can pull any outfit. The outfit is better for Navratri!
