MC to file plaint into assault on ATP

The Ludhiana municipal corporation has decided to lodge a police complaint against the protesters who had manhandled the female Assistant Town Planner (ATP), Kamaljit Kaur, on November 4. MC Commissioner AK Sinha has said that such a behaviour by any person would not be tolerated.

Eid-ul-Zuha: Goats worth ~10 cr sold in city

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha, goats or “bakr” (Urdu word) worth over Rs 10 crores were sold here in the past two-three days. Starting from today, the goats will be sacrificed for three consecutive days as a mark of respect and obedience to gratify the God.

Youth kills friend; at large
