A new twist to an old story
Rewind to the 1962 classic Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam—the victimised wife takes to drinking to provide company to her adulterous husband. Now, to the 2011 adaptation of the classic, Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster—the wife is no more a victim. She is aggressive, ambitious, has a streak of madness, and is capable of cheating on her husband.
Same rules apply to both sexes. So, on the one hand Sahib (Jimmy Shergill) goes around with other women, considering it as his birthright, on the other hand, Biwi (Mahie Gill) pledges to avenge betrayal, even better, uses a naïve gangster (Randeep Hooda), who falls madly in love with her. Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster, as the cast and director of the film, Tigmanshu Dhulia promises, will be experimental in a lot of ways. The first is that it has no hero or a villain. "They are characters with shades of grey. To sketch a hero, I needed inspiration, which I couldn't draw from the youth of today, who pass their time having coffee in cafes and chit-chatting," says Tigmanshu, who was in the city on Saturday along with the cast to promote the film. The three actors, Mahie, Jimmy and Randeep also share their experience of shooting the film and speak their mind on the controversies that tag along:
Break-ing story His character is the irony of the film. He is the gangster, who doesn't wink before pulling the trigger. The irony comes to fore when he starts working as a driver of the Sahib. "What happens then is that while he drives the car, the biwi starts driving him," quips the actor from Rohtak, which reminds us of the other actor from the same city—Mallika Sherawat. Randeep doesn't mind sharing his views on the success of the actor who now shuttles between Bollywood and Hollywood. "I am happy for her success but what she said about the people of Rohtak wasn't in good taste. Haryana is not that backward a state. Her's statements about her hometown have really upset the people." His hiatus of three years was finally broken by his cameo in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. The reason for the break in his career was his contract with Ram Gopal Verma, about which he has never gone public before. "After I signed my first flick, I signed a three-year contract with him for Rs 35,000 per month." So any hard feelings for him? "We get angry at those whom we love, not at those, who don't matter." Randeep has some intimate scenes with Mahie and rumours are that this postponed his marriage with girlfriend Neetu Chandra. As expected, Randeep denies it, "My personal life is being dragged into the public domain. As an actor, I have to do what the director tells me."
Getting too real To begin with, it was very difficult to shoot for a complex subject as this one. The genre is not new to Mahie. Dev D, Gulaal, Not a Love Story, she has been there, done that. "But, at times, it gets mentally exhausting to play such intense roles. While shooting for this film, I got so much into the character that it started shadowing the real me." To further render the real feel to her role and especially for the intimate scene with Randeep, where she is drunk, she actually gulped down five glasses of vodka. "It's a performance oriented role and I knew it would graduate to a new level of acting. The shoot for the scene went off well but I am not keen on method acting." Hers is in fact the most powerful role in the film, which she considers a compliment, given the fact that Bollywood's 80 per cent ventures are male centric. "At the same time, I seldom get to do roles in absolute commercial cinema. I don't have a candyfloss image but that is what masses come to watch when they pay money. As an actor it's satisfying to do challenging roles but the strange fact is there is always a risk of getting type cast."
New image The good boy image has gone bad for the character in the film. Not that it's the first unusual role he is playing, but certainly it excited him and saying yes to the offer was natural. "There were elements of complexity in the earlier characters that I played in Haasil and Charas. Sahib Biwi… is just taking another step forward." He adds that audience will find the black comedy in the film very refreshing.

WANDERFUL!
Attila Bodo is a man on a mission. On the road, with not much in his pockets, this 32-year old from Transylvania (formerly Hungary) is on a world tour promoting a cause close to his heart - world peace.
In Chandigarh, as part of his journey, (he has already covered the length and breadth of the country and also neighbouring Nepal), Attila talks about his endeavour. Highway is home for this wanderer who studied engineering and marketing but didn't complete it for he found it difficult to stay at one place. It wasn't easy for his family to accept his unconventional choice. "Since they loved me so much they let me follow my wish," says Attila. He started in 2010, covered much of Europe. He did Africa, some 5000 km on his motorbike when the turn of events (he lost his father) made him reassess his plans. Opportunity brought him to India and now this man on the highway walks his way to people's heart. People stop to give him a lift, if not, he puts up his tent wherever he gets tired, and, starts again. "I have spent nights in the humblest of the cottages and the grandest of castles. But nothing stops me, I have to move on," he says. There is not much that Attila owns. He carries a small tent, his laptop, camera and a spare shirt, and, yet, he is a happy man. "When I started my journey, I thought long and hard about myself, life, and observed people. The realisation that I am not here to 'own' struck hard," shares the man. He believes that the purpose of life is to figure out where did we come from, what's the purpose of this life and what lies ahead. One needs to let go of the attachments if one really wants to be happy, he believes. "See, I don't have anything, but, everything comes my way. And, that's what reaffirms my faith that I am on the right track," he says before starting off his journey from Chandigarh to Delhi. mona@tribunemail.com
Changing the world
Wherever Attila goes, he gives presentation on peace at colleges and universities. "I think, it's the youth that can be the change," he says. Attila believes that peace cannot be bought, sold or forced upon. "It's only by understanding that peace can be promoted," he says. Through his world tour Attila wants to mobilise the like-minded. The biggest farce is fighting for peace. "People can very well stay in harmony. It's not the borders and forces that we need to keep the peace but mutual understanding," he says.

Moving on to comedy
In the ideal world, a civil servant will probably write about his toils, tribulations and the challenges of being in a government set-up. Whosoever said we were living in a perfect world must have been long dead by now. Taking his humorous writings to another level, Vivek Atray has penned down a light-hearted book, Move on Bunny.
"The book started taking shape when I started making contributions to various newspapers. These were largely based on the anecdotes of my life," he shares, proudly holding his book. As far as the content goes, it is based on the "uproarious escapades" of Bunny Kapoor, a 25-year-old man's journey of life and his experiences with bosses and ex-women in his life. So, is Bunny Kapoor a reflection of Vivek Atray? "For any author it is impossible to detach from the protagonist when it comes to his first book. Bunny's life "may" have some elements from my personality," Vivek smiles. Bunny manages to smile when his spirits are low and makes it through his fast-paced life, winning the readers' heart. "For me, my biggest joy is when the reader will be able to smile. Plus, humour is fun to work on. It's like a child learning German," he says. Finding comedy easier to work on and steering clear of a masala subject for his book, Vivek advocates the theory of making the book readable across all age groups. "From an old person to a young executive, everyone will have a nostalgic feel while reading it," he says. Life can be fun if you look at it that way. Thinking on the same lines, Atray says, "You have to take it with a pinch of salt," he says. So, which way will words flow next? "Once you start writing, it's impossible to stop. For now, I will stick to comedy and maybe in future, you can expect some inspiring tale," he
adds. vasudha@tribunemail.com

Dress like a princess
There is something about actor Vidya Balan that interests critics—fashion and movies, respectively. 'Roles with a difference' is something that the lady has always been talked about and on the stylometer her long, flowing, elegant Anarkali suits, courtesy fashion designer Sabyasachi.
Whether or not Vidya Balan has set the traditional trend of Anarkali suits in Bollywood, many pretty damsels have been seen flaunting this elegant garment at various functions. These 'feel like a princess' Anarkali suits have enjoyed every designer's attention and for this season, they surely are a 'must-have' in your wardrobe. We bring you a lowdown on this flattering piece and how you can add that dash of elegance to it! Designer Renu Tandon redefines Anarkali suits, "This is a royal piece of garment which you can dress up by teaming it with a jacket and dress down by wearing it like a suit. Brocade jackets add elegance to the garment, which looks best at parties and functions, especially when worn at weddings." Renu uses bold as well as soft colours like maroon, royal blue, fuschia and off- white for Ankarkali suits. "Crinkled chiffon is the best fabric for these suits as they lift the entire look of the garment." With wedding season just around the corner, Anarkalis seem to have become a must pick. And of course, you can't resist twirling in it. Inspired by the Mughal period, many designers have also added a different touch to Anarkali-style churidars. Designer Salim Azgar Ali has in fact given Anarkali suits a whole lot of new permutations and combinations. "I have chosen asymmetrical touch, wherein the front side is short and the back is long. I have also increased the length of the Anarkali from 48 to 50 inches, so the churidaar is hardly visible and it can almost pass off as an evening dress." In another avatar, Salim has turned them into tunics. "I have used different kalis 18-36 in a shorter length that can be worn with leggings." When it comes to embellishments, zardosi, thread work in resham, tonal machine work, frills in combination at the bottom and up at neckline, as well as entire waist, enhances the look of the regal garment. "A flattering dress fit for all body types; essentially retains traditional appeal and this is how Indian women prefer it to be," says Sangeeta Sharma from Vastrini, Sector-9. She adds, "The kalis start from the shoulder with borders embellished in embroidered patti work. For the colours, it has to be vibrant considering the festive season ahead. Combinations of orange, pink, yellow, purple, green,
peacock, and subdued colours are the latest fad for the season." Jaya Rathore, designer, also votes for this garment as an impressive and the 'most perfect' for all kinds of events. "Traditional Anarkali suits feature a body-fitting bodice with long, flared panels. There are of course different kinds like georgette, silk, brocade, crushed cotton Anarkali suits featuring ornate sequin-work, bead-work and mirror-work along with resham embroidery," she says. Twirl around in your flattering piece and set the trend for the bridal season.

Clothe your canine
Fashion weeks and more fashion weeks, summer-winter collections; fashion and style everywhere…..if fashion is something that is on your head, then you certainly shouldn't miss out on those who are turning your pets trendy.
The canines have moved from the nude look to tweed jackets, colourful shorts, baseball caps, ultra-cool sunglasses and warm stockings! And you thought it was only Paris Hilton's Chihuaha who travels in Limousines and wears a deodorant worth four lakh! C'mon, dogs are your best pals and why can't you spare a thought for them! Here is how you can make them feel special. Before you get down to rearranging their wardrobe, make sure they are comfortable and fit in well. Manu Sawal, a homemaker from Sector-35, is very particular about Bozo's and Cookie's (three year old Labradors) clothes just like her daughter Mannat's. "I haven't seen pets wearing clothes in Chandigarh. Last year, I went to France with my husband; we stayed at his friend's place who had a pet all decked in tweed coat and shorts. It looked amazing. I picked up clothes for my pets from France and now they sport it on special occasions. Recently, I have picked up sunglasses for both," she shares, asking Bozo to get into his shorts. It should be fun seeing your pets slip into clothes and it is equally exciting for others to watch. In all this fun, do not ignore the pets' comfort. Make sure you don't force the style statement on them. In fact, be careful when you are buying stuff for them; it shouldn't be too tight and loose for them at the same time. Cautions Jasbir Singh Ahluwalia, a dog breeder from Ludhiana, "Dogs are very moody when it comes to wearing clothes; if they get bored with it, they would tear it or even chew it up. Make sure the jackets or the
fancy shorts are not too loose, there is a chance they get their clothes entangled into something, and if it is too tight they might get itching." Now that you know what to do and what not to, take your pet out to a pet shop to buy its favourite clothes. Sheena Pet Shop in Sector-20, Chandigarh, is a place where you can pick trendy jackets and cool accessories like sunglasses, caps and pendants for your pets. The wardrobe sounds incomplete without a pair of sporty shoes. Starting from Rs 500 onwards, you can pick checkered shoes for your loveable pet. Animal Kingdom in Sector-26, Chandigarh, is another pet mall where you can get trendy tees, sweat shirts, embroidered tees, jackets and velvet coats for the canines. Three racks full of accessories will make your pet jump with joy. Says Rajat Handa, director, Animal Kingdom, "It is soon going to be winter and we have a lot of
stuff for pets in this season. We have a whole line of clothing for them, but the owners have to train the pets to be comfortable with
clothes." jasmine@tribunemail.com

For name’s Sake
Little Miss Bo-Peep… no she didn't lose her sheep, she's calling her dog! When it's all about 'puppy love' even Miss Bo-peep, can be the name. If that sounds sheepish, how about calling your pet Squishy?
The logic is that you want to squish your dog, every time it looks at you? Well, how much of thought goes into naming the pet may totally depend on individuals, but almost every dog has its anecdote! At times, it's a hint of a second, at times nothing less than a well-researched effort, reached at through the process of short-listing and elimination. A lot many like to keep it short and sweet. Shares Alice Arora, high school student, "I have a black Labrador called Tweety. There is another one called Tom. Our previous two pets were named Tuffy and Joe." Sometimes, it's a race to be different, while at other times what you name your pet is a symbol of love and affection. She adds, "We wanted to keep a name that is short, sweet and simple; something that spells our sheer love for the creature. Our entire family sat together and brainstormed over various names, right from Smoky to Blacky to what not." Who hasn't heard of Angels, Divas, Brownies, Dollars, Buzos and Lucys? Shares Dr. Ravinder Singh, veterinary doctor with Animal Kingdom, "Generally people like to keep a name that's short, peppy, easy to pronounce or very unusual. I know of names like Laden, (after Osama Bin Laden), Buttons, Goggles (a pug with big eyes) and even Bronko, which means a little truck." It's not for nothing that countless sites suggesting the perfect name for your brand new pet open up! We've even heard the likes of Pam Billion for a name. One post comments, "I named my dog Google because I spent the entire day searching for a name for my pet on Google and couldn't find any." Hasn't it been a while since anybody heard traditional Indian pet names like Moti or Heera? Most of the nomenclatures are twisted-turned-up versions of English words. Corrects Dr. Singh, "Indian names or Hindi words are rare for a pet's name but one of my client addresses his pet as Heera Lal.” Laughs Sayyam Arora, B.Com student, Government College, "I thought of every conceivable chocolate's name for my brown cocker spaniel. I really went crazy before finally settling in for Desert. Or was it Dessert? As Kudrat Singh, sums up, "Naming your pet is just like naming your baby. The perfect word is a reflection of both you and your pet's personality." She too had her fair share of struggle. "I named my pug Snooty." Talk of wacky ones, and there's Abercrombie (after a brand) and even Al Poochino? But would the little pup (or the fierce thing) even respond to something like Abracadabra? Guess; every dog has its
name! manpriya@tribunemail.com

Lock-lustre
Education is slowly and gradually evolving in the beauty industry too. In fact, it is the most essential part nowadays. The whole concept of the brand Rusk which landed up with their team at Headmasters, Sector-8, Chandigarh, is to open up academies to educate the hair experts as well as the clientele about the correct usage of their products.
Is this kind of education really needed? "Yes, especially in India, where the hair stylists all over the country are following a set formula for hair applications without even having proper knowledge that what kind of product is needed for which type of hair," says Hedwige Sluss, managing director, Rusk. She adds, "Every hair stylist has his own signature style and we at Rusk focus on the true creativity of the stylists with the blend of our products." The fashion followed within a culture changes the attitude and confidence of a person. Says Marcus Caillet, creative artiste from the US, team Rusk, "The concept is very simple and you just need a little knowledge about the right products. There are no set hair techniques or looks; it's all about creativity and the vision of the stylist." Sherri Jesse another creative artist present there has worked with Nancy O' Dell, TV anchor and feels that even stars love to pamper their hair and work hard to maintain them. Shares Sherri, "One does not need to waste time to get good hair results. Once you know your hair type it becomes easy to select from the range of available products and the kind of treatment that is required." Experts abroad will train the trainers and in return they would train the hair stylists. A whole process, a round of exchange programs and workshops, one is sure to have good hair knowledge

it’s rocking How do you expect the song to be when the collaborators are rapper Ludacris and RDB? Cracker of a song! Shera Di Kaum Punjabi lives up to one's expectations. It's a perfect track for a sports-based film. It praises the Punjabis, has the required tempo and beats and has been delivered well by the singers. What else is required to make a track a hit? Music lovers are loving the song. Fans tell us why. Hit hai
When the title of the film is Speedy Singhs, it's natural to have a song in praise of the Punjabi community. And what a song Shera Di Kaum Punjabi is! You feel like turning on the volume to the maximum and hit the dance floor. Ludacris and RDB have done full justice to the track. It's peppy, fast and a bhangra number. The mix of rap and Punjabi music has once again proved to be the best recipe for a hit track. Nupur Saluja, student. Definitely chartbuster
Be it Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander or Chak De India, any movie that has some sport as its subject, has a motivational theme song to support it. For Speedy Singhs, it can't get anything better than Shera Di Kaum Punjabi. The song sets the mood for the film. Music is up to the mark and Ludacris, RDB and half a dozen of other singers have done justice to the song. The song will be heard in every disc and cars on the roads of Punjab. Sukhjeet Randhawa, student. Right mix
You don't have to make an effort to like the song if you are a Punjabi music fan. It's a typical bhangra number with a bit of rap. The best way to deliver a hit Punjabi track to praise the Punjabi community. And the song exactly does that. Akshay Kumar after delivering the hit, Singh is Kingg, understands the pulse of Punjabis. Drums as part of the background music makes the song an instant hit. Rajat Ahuja, a PU student.

Holiday fever
Radhika aka Rubina Dilaik has a hectic schedule thanks to her show Chhoti Bahu on Zee. Once in a while, the pretty actress likes to take a break with beau Avinash and go on short trips to chill and relax. Rubina shares her most memorable trips with
us.
Shimla I have been born and brought up in Shimla and it is no surprise that it tops
my list. I love everything about it especially the weather, which is always pleasant. I have deep-rooted memories, so it will not be possible to point out just a few. Shimla is like a soul within my body. Caribbean Islands The best thing about the Caribbean Islands is its natural beauty. It really left me enchanted. Avinash and I had planned this trip together. The Caribbean may not be the best when it comes to shopping but is definitely one of the best options to relax in the lap of nature. Avinash and I had gone for a long boat ride in the middle of the sea and it had green water, and the blue sky. It was a heavenly sight for both of us. Mauritius This was another beautiful trip that I had with
Avinash. I loved the clean beaches and pure waters. The place is amazing for sightseeing. Again there is not much to shop here but you can enjoy the sea food. Both Caribbean Islands are the best places to relax and makes for a perfect
hiloday. California I am a great foodie, so California was a treat for me. I loved the versatility of the restaurants there. I experimented with different cuisines , so as you can see most of my memories of California revolve around the amazing food that the place had to
offer. Goa I usually party at Goa during New Year's Eve. I am not a party animal but when it comes to Christmas and New
Year-Avi and I have friends, who come from all over the world and stay in Goa. That is the time of the year where all of us gather in Goa and party together. That is the only time of the year that I meet all my friends from abroad. New York New York is best for shopping. The best memories are my elegant dresses that I bought. There are so many options that you will just fall for the clothes available there. All dresses that I got are very pretty. New York is like heavens for
shoppers. Pattaya Avi and I had gone to Pattaya to relax for three or four days. The best part is that it is very near, just five to six hours flight. The nightlife is rocking. I just had to chill and relax leaving behind my worries as I had Avinash for
company. — HRM

A fresh love story
Shahid and Pankaj Kapur's dream family project, Mausam realesed in a star-studded premiere. Here is what the glamourous attendees had to say in praise of it.
Hrithik Roshan After a long time I watched such a beautiful love story. It's made from the heart. I think Shahid Kapoor needs a flaw! Perfect combination of strength and chocolate-boy image. The film has been shot beautifully. Bipasha Basu Sonam looks picture perfect and Shahid's performance was awesome and he really does justice to the IAF uniform. Wish them the best! Some scenes are so beautifully done that you imagine yourself to be there. From Indian routes to Scotland, it's a perfect love story. Genelia D'Souza From the beginning till the end, I sat with my mouth open! It's such a lovely film. I just loved Shahid in the film! What a performance! He has really grown as an actor and I think this was one of the best performances by him. Just loved the film and feel like dancing on the song Sajh Dhaj Ke as I just love the song and Shahid's moves. Kangana Ranaut It's a beautiful love story which reminds you of old love stories. It reminds you of Punjab ke khet and those romantic scenes. Totally loved the film and everyone's performance! Ameesha Patel I think it's a brilliant movie and the direction was totally well done. Hats off to Pankaj sir. After acting for so many years he has directed such a wonderful love story. I believe Shahid and Sonam make a cute pair. Rani Mukerji I loved the film and I think Shahid and Sonam were simply brilliant. Loved Sonam's looks she is such a good actor. I must admit Shahid has evolved to become a wonderful actor. A different take
British singer Elton John is in talks to make a film about his life, his spokesman said in response to media reports about a planned biopic called
Rocketman. Newspapers and websites said that Rocketman would be produced by John's partner David Furnish and Steve Hamilton Shaw and executive produced by the singer himself.
Playwright Lee Hall will provide the script. Asked to comment on the reports, John's London spokesman replied only: "Just discussions". He did not expand on whether anyone had been singled out to play the lead in the movie, although rumours are that Scottish actor James McAvoy had been tipped for the role. John and Hall have worked together before on the hit musical adaptation of the dance movie Billy Elliot. "Rocketman will be a radically different kind of biopic," Shaw told, adding that it would be "non-linear and hyper-visual". Initial reports of plans for a John biopic surfaced in early 2011. The 64-year-old behind hits including Candle in the Wind and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was a child piano prodigy who rose from a part-time pub player to become one of the most successful recording artists of all time. The glam rocker has won an Oscar and several Grammys.

A Rockstar falls in love...
Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in his most challenging role and finest performance to date in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar. The superstar talks about making the movie, falling in love with Kashmir and Nargis Fakhri.
On Rockstar It sounds so cool: Rockstar! I loved the film title and after searching and researching, Imtiaz finalised this title and the title is everyone's favourite. Since childhood, everyone dreams of becoming a rockstar. When Imtiaz approached me with the script, I didn't give it a second thought because he has directed Socha Na Tha which I loved and then Jab We Met which was superb. While going through Rockstar, I realised it's a brilliant script and a director like him will make it nicer so I immediately agreed to do the film. Even while shooting I had learnt a lot from Imtiaz and I must admit he is one of the most brilliant directors we have today. His imagination and depiction of love is different yet identifiable. Shooting in Kashmir We have shot over many places but one place I fell in love with was Kashmir. I have always heard about Kashmir but for the first time I stayed there for so long. We don't need to go anywhere else when we have such a beautiful place in our own country. People over there are so beautiful and nice. They invite you to their home and serve you some delicious food. It's just an amazing place. I know common audiences are sometimes scared to go to Kashmir but believe me if you haven't seen Kashmir then you haven't see heaven on earth. It's such a beautiful place! Discovering love I play a character called Janardhan who is nothing and a nobody at home and in college. Then love strikes his life and he meets Heer (Nargis Fakhri) and everything changes. Janardhan has a passion for music but love changes him and how he discovers another side of himself is what the movie is all about. On-screen chemistry Nargis is an amazing actor. She is a big boon to our film. We are lucky to have her on board in our film. I pray that audiences accept Nargis as this is her first film. I request everyone to be kind to her. It feels really nice to know that people are liking our chemistry on screen. Rockstar is all set to release in November.

Tracking sound
"A cool film' is what Neerav Ghosh dreamt of making; and with his soon-to-be-released Soundtrack, he hopes to realise his dream!
Musician-turned-director Neerav had three scripts ready before Soundtrack but somehow nothing clicked. However, things worked with this one - the movie is in post-production stage.
Based on a story of a musician (it remains his first love), Soundtrack explores Neerav's nightmare - a world without music - that he had since his teen years. "It's a simple story of an underdog achieving success, a theme I guess the audience can relate to," shares Neerav. "The treatment tech-wise is cutting-edge," he adds. At the same time, this debutante director is clear that his is not a masala flick for the masses. "It is a witty, heart-warming tale that's bound to appeal to the urban audience," he says.

Winesome
Drinking two or three glasses of red wine each day has no effect on lowering high blood pressure, according to a new research. Experts have previously praised antioxidants called polyphenols found in red wine for fighting heart problems, lowering cholesterol and slashing the risk of diabetes.
But a new Dutch study has found that polyphenols makes no positive difference to high blood pressure and subsequent cardiovascular disease.
"Our findings do not support the idea that red wine polyphenols can account for the suggested cardiovascular benefits," says researcher Lise

All in the family
Abigail Jain aka Sia of Channel V's Humse Hai Life seems to be enjoying herself on the sets. The lively and cheerful 19-year-old has made all her co-stars either her brother or sister on the set. Be it, her on-screen rival Raghav (Himansh Kohli), trouble-maker Vishal (Rupesh ) or the sultry Saloni (Heli). The young homely girl is definitely living up to her on-screen image. Abigail seems to be closest to her reel brother Gautam, who is a young 16-year old and a popular face on television. She says, "Gautam and me connect on a different level all-together. We play, have fun, scold each other, have petty fights on the sets. It actually helps us play our respective characters better, since we gel so well." Watch this beautiful relationship as Sia embarks her journey in Elite school with many difficulties ahead of her.

Anushka on a high!
First it was Ranveer Singh, her co-star in BBB and now we have heard that Anushka is spending a good amount of time with Boney Kapoor's son, Arjun Kapoor. They have been spotted at multiplexes, parties, and friends' place together. Even her career is doing very well. She has been cast in YRF's untitled film-the one which stars Kat-SRK. She also has Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl and probably a film with
Salman.
Branjelina of Bollywood
That's what Irish newspapers are saying about them. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif who are shooting in Dublin for Ek Tha Tiger are facing some problems. During the shoot at Dublin's Ha'penny bridge on the North Quays film workers stopped the shoot because of low pay.
Girl bonding
Who says girls can't be friends? The latest actress friends in Bollywood are Sonam Kapoor and
Asin. They stay in touch via BB and then meet over the weekend. They get along well. Asin seems to have great bonding with Kapoor family: first it was Sridevi and now it's

the
year ahead
If your birthday is September 25...
This birthday makes you a more private person, more introspective and perhaps more flexible. In friendships, you are very cautious and reserved. You are probably inventive. The 25th September of 2011 modifies your life path by giving you some special interest in technical, scientific or other complex and often hard to understand subjects. You may become a perfectionist and a stickler for details. Your thinking is logical and intuitive, rational and responsible. Your feelings may run deep, but you are not very likely to let them show. Instability (due to poor management of your duties) is on the cards. Consequently, try to look at the way you work. Business will require you to put in some hard work. You can delegate some work to your juniors who will be happy to be trained. You're impressed by some of the thoughts being shared and keen to give your support where it is needed. Especially, if this might help others turn their ideas into something more tangible. To a certain extent, you can help some people turn their thoughts into practical application but there will be many suggestions that go waste. Your initiatives will not always work out perfectly. The current educational crisis looks much bigger than they actually are. If you stay patient, the storm will blow over on its own. Avoid making any judgment calls. If you are planning repairs or renovation of your house for making it more spacious and comfortable you better start getting in touch with the right people. Some of you may be attacked with airborne diseases. And some can be the victim of climate change. Minor headache and pain in joints may cause sufferings. Consult your family doctor. Your local and foreign trip will be more enjoyable for it. Mood : Cheerful despite the attitude of others. Compatible signs: Gemini, Cancer. Lucky colours: Bright Green, Purple. Lucky days: Thursday and Friday. Lucky numbers: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Lucky flower: Pansy. Lucky Gem: Jade, the gemstone of hope and
healing.
