PGI to enhance teacher-student ratio
Chandigarh, February 28
In order to increase postgraduate seats in medical courses, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, has decided to enhance its teacher-student ratio. A decision in this regard has already been taken by the academic committee of the institution which was also approved by a government body headed by Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Widening work on two key roads begins

MC saves 15 pc of contract amount

A senior citizen of Sector 70, DS Laungia, has rued apathy on part of the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) in hearing his appeal filed before the appellate authority-cum-additional chief administrator of GMADA against a demand notice of Rs 9.15 lakh issued by the estate office against the price of a plot allotted to him 17 years ago.
