Mohali, November 14 ASI Ajiab Singh of the central investigation wing of the district police stated Satvir Singh, a resident of village Kharal in Jind district of Haryana, was transporting 1,460 poultry birds in an inhuman manner in his vehicle (HR-52-2889). On checking, it was detected that the vehicle was loaded beyond capacity. A case under Section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, has been registered. |
