Competitions mark Mother’s Day celebrations

Montessori wing of Bal Bharti Public School celebrated Mother’s Day on the school premises on Friday. Special craft sheets were made by the students highlighting the importance of a mother in child’s life. The programme started with an action song “Mumma Loves Me” by the students followed by choreography “Role of a Mother in a Child’s Life”.

A resident of Dhandey village, Sarabjit, reportedly committed suicide at the Nangal Colony near Goraya. The police has booked his wife Santosh, her mother Satya, brother Kala and father Sarwan Dass on the charges of abetment to suicide.
