The UT administration has decided not to set up an e-sampark centre at the proposed location in Sector 21B adjoining the Chandigarh City Bird Sanctuary and has asked the area councillor and resident welfare associations to suggest an alternative site.

 
Rare operation on man with severe breathing problem

Premier medical institution of the region PGI has added another feather to its cap by becoming the first government hospital in the country to perform a successful surgery of placing a silicone Y-stent in a patient’s trachea (wind pipe) after removing a tumour that was causing a blockade in the throat.

Bank told to refund Rs 28,000

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum has stated that in the absence of any directions or specific mandate from the customer, no banker can unilaterally and arbitrarily encash or transfer the money of a depositor from his account and pay it to any other person without verifying the genuineness of the cheque/instrument and the signatures of the customer.

GMADA allots work to develop golf academy
