Samrala. The deceased, identified as Priya Sharma, was on her way from Ludhiana to Chandigarh,

6,400 violators; 8 yrs on MC still helpless

The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (LMC) may be “adamant” on removing illegal encroachments throughout the city but as far as list of 6,400 violators is concerned, authorities have miserably failed to take any stern action against them even after eight years of the release of the list. |

Heavy vehicles cross bridge despite ban
