Navreh celebrated: The All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference celebrated Navreh
(Nav Varsh Pratipada) with full zeal at the first Navratra function at the party office in Durganagar here today.
According to a statement issued here, Vinod
Kaul, Relief Commissioner, felicitated AN Vaishnavi, who is the president of the conference, for his contribution to the welfare of the community. Besides the party members, local residents also participated in the function.

Fire claims baby’s life:A fire claimed the life of a three-year-old baby and resulted in burn injuries to others in the Vijaypur area in Samba district early today.
The police said a hut of a Gujjar family caught fire.While most members managed to come out, the girl perished in the incident. The flames were controlled after some time. A case was registered and further investigation was in progress.
